Oh. my. word. This wedding!
Joe & Kate got married on a beautifully sunny (and only slightly windy) day in June.
The wedding took place on the field next to Kate’s parents beautiful B&B, in the heart of the rolling hills of Devon, and there could not have been a more perfect setting for these two adventurers to tie the knot.
From flower crowns, to golden tattoos, to the beautiful blush pink bridal gown, to the stunning flowers and incredible hand-made rings, the details of this wedding were just so pretty. And then the field! An outdoor ceremony, with hay bales and bunting, followed by a relaxed afternoon milling around the marquee.
Joe & Kate went for a slightly less traditional approach to the afternoon/evening celebrations, choosing not to opt for the standard wedding breakfast, but having an afternoon cream tea, followed by food trucks offering delicious wood-fired pizza and incredible paella in the evening instead. So fun! The rest of the time was interspersed with hilarious and heartfelt speeches, plenty of outdoor games, and a whirl of dancing.
Guys, thank you SO much for having us at your wedding! It was one of the most stunning weddings we’ve ever had the joy of photographing, and yet so fun at the same time! We could really feel the love everyone there had for you and it was a truly special thing to witness. Wishing you so much happiness and adventuring together!
